Friends of Bethel Park Conducts “Informational Roadblock”
On April 9, 2006, the Friends of Bethel Park conducted its first “Informational Roadblock” at the entrance to Bethel Park. Over the course of the day almost a dozen volunteers manned the “Informational Roadblock” educating the users of Bethel Park about the proposed closing of Bethel Park. Over 100 users of Bethel Park signed the Friends of Bethel Park’s petition asking Forsyth County to assume control of Bethel Park. Sunday’s “Informational Roadblock” was a great success and we look forward to conducting similar events in the near future.
